Head Waiter / Head Waitress – French Speaker (Dubai)

About the role

One&Only Resorts is seeking a dynamic Head Waiter or Head Waitress who is fluent in French to join the Food & Beverage team at One&Only The Palm in Dubai. The role involves leading the service team, ensuring impeccable guest experiences, and supporting the Restaurant General Manager in maintaining the resort’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Present yourself with energy and professionalism to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure all mise‑en‑place is prepared correctly before service begins.
• Prepare food and beverage orders within resort‑defined time parameters.
• Demonstrate thorough product knowledge of all menu items.
• Maintain the restaurant’s design and layout to reflect the resort’s image.
• Create a working environment that reflects the resort’s sense of place.
• Delegate tasks to service staff and ensure completion.
• Stay updated on resort activities, guest arrivals, departures, and daily events.
• Report any incidents or breakages promptly.

Required profile

• Fluent French speaker.
• Proven experience in a senior waitstaff or supervisory role within a luxury hotel or fine‑dining environment.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Excellent hospitality attitude and attention to detail.
