Head Waiter – Luxury Hotel Restaurant

About the role

The Head Waiter will lead the restaurant team at SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences, ensuring seamless daily operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a 5‑star luxury setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations and maintain smooth service flow.
• Guide and mentor servers, acting as a supervisor on a regular basis.
• Maximize sales through upselling and ensure cash floats are secured.
• Manage inventory, requisitions, and equipment to stay within budgeted costs.
• Record voids, handle cash, credit cards and cheques according to company procedures.
• Address guest complaints promptly and report them to the Restaurant Manager.
• Coordinate with Head Chef, Reception, and other hotel departments.
• Compile daily management reports and gather guest feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a high‑end restaurant or hotel.
• Strong focus on guest satisfaction and service quality.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage budgets and control costs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Cash handling and financial reconciliation.

• Knowledge of restaurant operating equipment.
