Health, Safety, and Environment Officer

Exceptional hospitality starts with you. As a Health, Safety, and Environment Officer you will ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests, team members, and visitors across our hotels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead hotel safety compliance by overseeing health, food, fire, and environmental safety programs across designated hotels.
• Implement risk management practices, applying company safety policies and proactively managing risks related to public health, accessibility, security, housing, and trading standards.
• Drive compliance and audits by conducting regular safety and hygiene audits, fire tours, and system tests, documenting results and ensuring follow‑up.
• Investigate and mitigate incidents, leading investigations into food poisoning, accidents, and guest complaints, analyzing data and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage contractor compliance in partnership with Facilities, monitoring contractor activity and enforcing safety standards.
• Deliver safety training, facilitating food hygiene, fire safety, and other compliance training programs for managers and team members.
• Support environmental initiatives by collaborating with environmental champions and hotel leadership to promote sustainability and align with environmental policies.
