Health Safety Environment Officer – Dubai Project

About the role

The Health Safety Environment (HSE) Officer will join the HSE team on a large‑scale construction project in Dubai, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for all staff, visitors, and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide facilitation and leadership in managing a safe and healthy workplace for all staff and visitors.
• Ensure HSE is treated as a high priority and continuously improved through action planning and best‑practice procedures.
• Facilitate implementation of health and safety procedures, including training and familiarisation of staff.
• Regularly review and update existing health and safety procedures.
• Conduct internal audits to verify full compliance with procedures.
• Liaise with clients to brief them on internal procedures.
• Review and comment on contractor‑submitted OH&S manuals and statements.
• Supervise HSE staff, assigning inspection schedules, training requirements and arrangements as needed.
• Maintain a register of all incidents and accidents, issuing non‑conformance notices where required.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Health and Safety or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on high‑rise construction projects.
• NEBOSH qualification.
