Health Safety Environment Officer - Offshore

About the role

The company, a leading UAE conglomerate in construction, engineering and food distribution, is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to oversee health, safety and environmental compliance on offshore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of work sites, equipment, tools, temporary facilities and storage areas.
• Monitor Permit To Work, SIMOPS, JSA and safety controls for high‑risk activities such as hot work, lifting, work at height, confined spaces, electrical work, scaffolding and traffic safety.
• Maintain inspection, incident, induction, toolbox talk, corrective action, training and HSE monitoring records and prepare periodic HSE reports.
• Ensure contractor and subcontractor compliance with the company IMS, project HSE requirements and client standards, particularly ADNOC.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Diploma in HSE, Safety Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years offshore HSE experience, with strong knowledge of PTW, JSA, SIMOPS‑Adnoc, risk assessment and emergency response.
• NEBOSH IGC and IOSH certifications required; OSHA certification is an advantage.
• Valid BOSIET/FOET, HUET, H2S and Offshore Medical certifications.
