Health System Operations Analyst – Remote Expert Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Health System Operations Analyst to support a leading AI lab in training its language model on healthcare-focused documents, spreadsheets and slide decks. The role is fully remote, flexible, and involves 5‑20 hours per week (or more) of expert work creating and refining models and reports that drive patient throughput, service-line performance and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate patient throughput and bed utilization models for hospital executives.
• Design care pathway redesign proposals and clinical workflow improvement documents.
• Create service-line performance dashboards and payer contract analysis decks.
• Build staffing ratio, labor cost optimisation and reimbursement models.
• Produce quality and patient-safety improvement reports and related slide presentations.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to evaluate and improve generated content.

Required profile

• 5 + years of experience in hospital operations, health-system consulting or care-delivery redesign.
• Proven track record of owning patient-throughput, service-line or staffing models presented to senior leadership.
• Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently on a flexible schedule and meet tight deadlines.
