About the role

The Healthcare Assistant will support clinical licensed staff in delivering patient care within regulator guidelines, ensuring quality and patient safety at Mediclinic Al Ain Hospital.

Key responsibilities

Provide fundamental patient care under the guidance of licensed personnel.
Maintain and supervise Central Sterile Supply items in the ward.
Uphold and advocate for patient rights.
Participate in intentional rounds.
Provide general administrative services to ensure effective daily operations.

Required profile

Diploma as Health Care Assistant or equivalent.
Experience in an inpatient hospital or OPD setting as a Health Care Assistant.
UAE experience is beneficial.
Preference given to designated groups under the UAE Emiratization program.

Required skills

Advanced computer literacy.
Functional numerical literacy.
Knowledge of basic CSSD functions.
Manual handling and ergonomic principles.
