Healthcare Assistant - Emirati Talent

About the role

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is hiring one Healthcare Assistant (Emirati talent) to support clinical licensed staff in providing patient care support within regulator guidelines and in line with quality and patient safety standards. The position is based in the ward.

Key responsibilities

• Provide fundamental patient care under the guidance of licensed personnel
• Maintain and supervise central sterile supply items in the ward
• Uphold and advocate for patient rights
• Take part in intentional rounds
• Provide general administrative services to the unit to ensure effective daily operations
• Contribute to training and education

Required profile

• Diploma as Health Care Assistant or equivalent
• Experience as a Health Care Assistant in an inpatient hospital or OPD setting
• UAE experience is beneficial
• All applicants are considered, with preference given to designated groups under the UAE Emiratization Program
