Healthcare Operations & Clinical Documentation Specialist

About the role

This remote, hourly contract position is designed for experienced healthcare professionals who will support advanced AI research by applying their expertise in electronic health record (EHR) systems, clinical documentation, medical billing, and coding. You will work on structured tasks that evaluate AI‑generated outputs and ensure they reflect real‑world clinical and administrative workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Complete structured tasks using platforms such as Epic, MyChart, Meditech, Athenahealth, CoverMyMeds, and 3M CodeFinder.
• Evaluate AI‑generated healthcare content for accuracy, realism, and alignment with actual clinical processes.
• Provide detailed feedback, annotations, and quality assessments according to project guidelines.
• Identify inconsistencies or unrealistic elements in AI‑generated outputs.
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain high quality and consistency.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in healthcare administration, clinical documentation, medical billing, or coding.
• Direct experience with at least one EHR or healthcare system (e.g., Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, MyChart, CoverMyMeds).
• Strong understanding of clinical and administrative workflows, including prior authorizations.
• Analytical mindset with ability to assess AI‑generated scenarios.
