About the role

The Heart of House Specialist ensures that all back‑of‑house food and beverage areas at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This position supports banquet set‑up, equipment readiness, and waste management to deliver seamless service for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Clean kitchen and back‑of‑house areas according to standard operating procedures.
• Prepare banquet functions exactly as outlined in the Banquet Event Order.
• Supply each outlet and food production area with clean, dry equipment and garbage cans.
• Ensure correct chemicals are used for all cleaning tasks.
• Manage proper waste disposal and maintain cleanliness of the waste disposal room.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities, dishwasher temperatures, and equipment usage.
• Empty and clean the dishwasher after each use, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Monitor and control breakage or loss of operating equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Stewarding or back‑of‑house department.
• Commitment to high personal appearance, hygiene, and adherence to fire, safety, and hygiene policies.
