Heart of House Specialist

About the role

The Heart of House Specialist supports essential hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness across multiple departments such as kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry. This full‑time position works on‑site at the Mall of the Emirates location, ensuring guests experience spotless environments and well‑maintained facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dining ware, kitchen equipment, linens, and other hotel areas using dishwashers, hand‑wash stations, and laundry machines.
• Transport dishware, linens, and other items throughout the hotel while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, report any malfunctions, and follow proper procedures for safe use.
• Lift, move, and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or GED required; no prior experience needed.
• Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced environment and follow company policies.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
• Professional appearance, uniform compliance, and clear communication with team members.
