About the role

The Heart Of House Specialist Steward supports the staff cafeteria at Westin Dubai Marina, ensuring that dining ware, kitchen equipment and linen are clean, well‑maintained and ready for use by guests and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
• Transport dishware, cookware and linens between kitchen, service areas and laundry.
• Perform routine cleaning of kitchen and cafeteria areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Report accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions to the supervisor promptly.
• Lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Stand, walk or sit for extended periods and reach overhead or below the knees as required.

Required profile

• No high‑school diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience or supervisory experience necessary.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Commitment to safety, professional appearance and adherence to company policies.
