Heat Treatment Technician

About the role

NMDC Energy PJSC is seeking a Heat Treatment Technician to operate heat‑treatment furnaces and perform post‑weld heat‑treatment (PWHT) activities on piping and structural weld joints for fabrication and construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heat‑treatment furnaces and local PWHT machines, ensuring accurate temperature control.
• Install and set up thermocouples, monitor and record temperature data.
• Prepare heat‑treatment reports and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and quality standards.
• Perform heat treatment of piping and structural weld joints.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in heat‑treatment furnace operations and PWHT.
• Ability to read and understand PWHT requests, procedures, and technical reports.
• Experience in fabrication, construction, oil & gas, offshore, or industrial projects is an advantage.

Required skills

• Thermocouple installation and setup.
• Temperature monitoring and recording.
• Operation of heat‑treatment furnaces and PWHT machines.
• Preparation of heat‑treatment reports and documentation.
• Compliance with HSE and quality standards.
