Heavy Driver

About the role

The Heavy Driver will play a crucial role in Danube Building Materials' ready‑mix concrete operations, transporting concrete to construction sites across Dubai. You will work closely with the dispatch team to plan routes, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy‑duty vehicles to transport ready‑mix concrete to construction sites.
• Plan and follow optimized delivery routes, considering traffic and site requirements.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper loading and unloading procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and assist with loading/unloading concrete.
• Keep accurate records of delivery time, location, and quantity.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide professional customer service representing Danube Building Materials.

Required profile

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driver's License (HDT or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a heavy driver, preferably in construction or ready‑mix concrete.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE roads and major construction sites.
• Clean driving record and strong spatial awareness for navigation.
• Physical fitness to perform basic vehicle maintenance and assist with loading.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
• Positive attitude and commitment to exceptional customer service.
