About the role
International Community School – Al Manhal Branch is seeking a passionate History Teacher for its High/Secondary School level. The role involves delivering engaging IGCSE history lessons aligned with the UK curriculum and contributing to a supportive learning community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver history lessons that meet the UK syllabus and IGCSE assessment standards.
- Inspire students to develop curiosity and critical thinking about historical topics.
- Collaborate with the Social Sciences department and participate in school community activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in History or Education.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in secondary schools using the British Curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of the UK history syllabus and assessment methods.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
