Home-Based Science & Math Teacher for Primary Students

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Science and Math Teacher to provide one‑on‑one instruction to primary‑school children in a family home in Dubai. The role focuses on building strong foundational skills through hands‑on experiments, real‑world problem solving and inquiry‑based learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science and Math lessons tailored to each child’s level, pace and interests.
• Use experiments, puzzles, manipulatives and everyday examples to make concepts concrete.
• Cover core topics including numeracy, arithmetic, basic algebra, geometry, physics, biology, chemistry and earth sciences.
• Track progress through portfolios, notes and regular assessments.
• Adapt teaching methods based on the child’s evolving strengths and gaps.
• Foster curiosity, observation, questioning and hypothesis‑driven learning.
• Maintain a calm, encouraging learning environment and communicate regularly with parents.

Required profile

• Degree in Education, Science, Mathematics or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching primary‑aged children in one‑on‑one or small‑group settings.
• Ability to explain complex ideas in simple, age‑appropriate language.
• Patient, observant and skilled at identifying learning gaps early.
• Comfortable with project‑based and inquiry‑led teaching approaches.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or Spanish a plus.
• Based in Dubai or willing to relocate.
