Hospital Administrator

About the role

This role oversees the daily operations of all administrative functions related to patient registration, admissions, medical records, billing coordination, collections, scheduling, discharge processes, and call‑center management. It ensures smooth, efficient, and compliant operations that support high‑quality patient care and a positive patient experience while adhering to UAE healthcare regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily administrative functions including patient registration, admissions, medical records, billing coordination and collections.
• Lead and manage non‑clinical departments such as call centre, front desk, scheduling, cashiering, revenue cycle, housekeeping and security.
• Monitor financial governance, KPIs and budgets, and identify revenue‑enhancement opportunities through cost/revenue analysis.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations (DHA, DOH, MOHAP) and conduct regular audits of patient records and processes.
• Drive process improvements, digital transformation and automation initiatives to enhance patient flow and satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in hospital administrative leadership, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and manage complex operational budgets.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Hands‑on experience with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platforms.
