Hospitality and Counters Operations Manager – Retail (M&S)

About the role

The Hospitality and Counters Operations Manager will lead the strategic vision and day‑to‑day execution of in‑store bakery, hospitality and counters functions across the MENA & KSA region for M&S. You will drive growth, innovation and operational excellence while collaborating closely with Food Buying and Operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the regional sales plan for M&S hospitality and counters, identifying and acting on growth opportunities.
• Manage daily store operations, ensuring service quality, stock accuracy and compliance with seasonal updates.
• Lead design and deployment of best‑in‑class bakery equipment and processes, championing innovation and sustainability projects.
• Maintain a safe, legal working environment by overseeing TSL compliance and health‑safety standards.
• Develop and motivate a committed team, driving performance through coaching, training and clear communication.
• Optimize costs by minimizing losses, managing staff expenses and implementing waste‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven track record in hospitality or retail F&B operations, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and make commercial decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, able to work under pressure and deliver results.
• Relevant food‑hygiene certifications and deep technical knowledge of bakery and counter operations.
