Hostess (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

Exceptional hospitality starts with you. As a Hostess (Arabic Speaker) at DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront, you will create warm first impressions, coordinate guest arrivals, and ensure memorable experiences for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the guest arrival and seating experience, creating a warm and personalized first impression.
• Coordinate reservations, VIP arrivals, walk‑ins, and table allocations to ensure smooth service flow.
• Anticipate guest needs, recognize preferences, and deliver personalized Hilton hospitality.
• Support the front‑of‑house team during busy periods, maintaining service standards and efficiency.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery promptly, escalating complex concerns when required.
• Coach team members on guest engagement, communication, and service standards.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Kitchen, and Front Office teams to deliver a seamless guest journey.
• Manage special occasions, VIP arrangements, and guest requests with attention to detail.

Required profile

• A passion for spreading the light and warmth of hospitality.
• Integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency.
• Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or related field (advantage).
• Current or previous hotel experience (advantage).
• Food & Beverage / Restaurant Operations training.
• Guest Service and Customer Experience training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and team coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in hotel reservation systems.
• Proficiency in POS systems.
