Hostess – Front of House

About the role

We are looking for a warm, welcoming, service‑oriented Hostess to join the Food & Beverage team at NH Collection Dubai The Palm. As the first point of contact, you will create a positive first impression and help ensure a smooth, memorable dining experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Manage restaurant reservations, guest arrivals, and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus when required.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of outlet operating hours, menus, promotions, and hotel facilities.
• Monitor table availability and coordinate closely with the service team to ensure smooth seating flow.
• Answer telephone inquiries and handle reservation requests professionally.
• Recognize returning guests and special occasions and communicate relevant information to the team.
• Assist with guest requests, feedback, and concerns and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and entrance area.
• Coordinate effectively with the Restaurant Manager, Supervisors, Kitchen, and service team.

Required profile

• Warm, confident, and outgoing personality with a passion for guest service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain professional and composed during busy periods.
• Well‑groomed with a professional appearance.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Required skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment (preferred).
