Hostess

About the role

We are looking for a Hostess to join the luxury hospitality team at Raffles The Palm Dubai. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm and seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests at F&B outlets, manage reservations and control guest flow.
• Seat guests, take telephone bookings and maintain an organized reservations book.
• Assist with table set‑up, displays and ensure the restaurant is ready before opening.
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints and report incidents to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of the hostess station, menus and surrounding areas.
• Present checks, perform cashiering functions when needed and assist with inventory of operating equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year hotel experience in Food & Beverage.
• Secondary education and excellent English reading, writing and speaking skills.
• Well‑presented, professionally groomed and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Full knowledge of the restaurant’s seating plan and ability to maintain a guest database.
