Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor

About the role

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Working closely with housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry teams, you will coordinate daily cleaning activities and maintain quality control across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool areas after cleaning to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Generate and review sold‑room reports, identify discrepancies, prioritize cleaning tasks and update room status.
• Act as liaison between housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry to resolve issues and communicate room assignments.
• Document and resolve discrepancies, complete required paperwork and communicate hand‑overs to the next shift.
• Assist management with training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling and motivation of housekeeping staff.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies; report maintenance problems, hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 55 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift.
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
