Hotel Plumber

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Plumber to join the engineering team at Westin Dubai. The role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all plumbing and related systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and document daily activities for shift handovers.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures before any maintenance work.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting.
• Driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders.
• Willingness to follow safety, security, and company policies.

Required skills

• Plumbing repair (toilet plunging, drain unclogging).
• Electrical component replacement (lamps, switches, outlets).
• Basic air‑conditioning and refrigeration knowledge.
• Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
• Basic carpentry and painting for minor repairs.
• Landscaping sprinkler maintenance.
• Computer entry for maintenance scheduling and temperature adjustments.
