Housekeeping Attendant – Guest Room Service

About the role

As a Housekeeping Attendant at Fairmont Ajman you will be responsible for preparing guest rooms so they are clean, comfortable and ready for arrival. Your work will directly influence the guest experience and help maintain the hotel’s 5‑star reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies as required.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or lost‑and‑found items to the supervisor immediately.
• Keep trolleys and housekeeping equipment clean, well‑stocked and properly stored.
• Follow safety, sanitation and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality while servicing rooms.
• Assist with laundry duties, linen distribution and public‑area cleaning when needed.
• Provide prompt, courteous service and anticipate guest needs.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks and lifting.
• Positive, reliable and service‑oriented attitude.
• Basic communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
