Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant ensures that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards of Anantara Resorts. This position supports the resort’s commitment to authentic hospitality and a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms in line with the hotel’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including correct usage and handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain accurate records for linen, towels, uniforms and other inventory items.
• Process lost‑and‑found items and keep appropriate logs.
• Monitor and adjust par levels for linen and amenities to match inventory requirements.
• Identify and recommend measures to minimise waste of materials and amenities.
• Maintain security awareness, reporting incidents to the appropriate manager.
• Fulfil VIP and special guest requests, especially for families with children.
• Remove room‑service trays and place them in the service area.
• Prepare room status reports and promptly report any damage or loss.

Required profile

• Passion for generous, warm hospitality and guest service.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs consistently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the housekeeping team.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.
• Ability to handle guest requests promptly and exceed expectations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of professional housekeeping cleaning procedures.
• Proper use and handling of housekeeping chemicals.
• Competence in operating housekeeping equipment and tools.
• Accurate record‑keeping for inventory and lost‑and‑found items.
