Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms at Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, a luxury hotel delivering authentic Turkish hospitality. You will ensure rooms meet brand standards while providing courteous service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive room cleaning, including dusting, making beds, vacuuming, bathroom sanitation, and inside‑window cleaning.
• Remove soiled linen and retrieve clean linen from linen closets, replenishing rooms with supplies as required.
• Use and maintain cleaning equipment, empty vacuum cleaners when full, and ensure proper usage of cleaning supplies.
• Place “cleaning in progress” signs, keep doors closed during room preparation, and coordinate with room service for tray/trolley removal.
• Accurately report room status at the end of each shift and communicate any issues to the floor supervisor.
• Maintain organized linen and supply closets, and keep the landing area tidy.
• Report lost‑and‑found items to security, and notify housekeeping or security of any suspicious persons or health & safety hazards.
• Uphold grooming and uniform standards, and report any equipment malfunctions promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational training with at least one year of relevant work experience.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal) – essential.
• Friendly, pleasant disposition with strong people‑interaction skills.
• High level of personal cleanliness and grooming.
• Ability to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects as part of daily duties.
