Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

Join our hospitality team as a Housekeeping Attendant, where you'll contribute to creating exceptional guest experiences at The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah. In this onsite role, you will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation throughout guest rooms and assigned areas, ensuring a warm, luxurious, and memorable stay for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, suites, corridors, public areas, and other assigned spaces according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish bathroom and guest amenities.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and clean furniture, fixtures, floors, windows, and other surfaces as required.
• Inspect assigned rooms and areas to ensure housekeeping standards are consistently met.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, lost and found items, or guest concerns promptly to the supervisor.
• Handle guest requests professionally and provide prompt assistance whenever required.
• Replenish housekeeping supplies, amenities, linens, and other necessary items to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Use cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment safely and according to hotel procedures.
• Assist with special cleaning projects, deep cleaning, and other housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Work closely with other housekeeping and hotel departments to ensure excellent guest service.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a Housekeeping Attendant, Room Attendant, Cleaner, or similar hospitality role.
• Good knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures, cleaning methods, and hygiene standards.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high‑quality standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, presentable, and well‑groomed appearance aligned with hotel standards.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move housekeeping equipment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Proactive, positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Basic organizational skills to manage assigned rooms and tasks efficiently.
