Housekeeping Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant ensures guest rooms and public areas are clean, well‑maintained, and ready for use in a luxury hotel environment. You will work closely with the housekeeping team to deliver the high standards expected by Waldorf Astoria guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean rooms, suites and assigned hotel areas – make beds, clean bathrooms, dust, vacuum, wash windows and tracks.
• Report rooms as clean and available, and log any maintenance deficiencies.
• Strip and replace linens, remove used amenities, and restock the maid cart as needed.
• Greet guests promptly with a friendly acknowledgement and respond to special requests for extra amenities or service timing.
• Maintain cleanliness of balconies, public areas and allocated sections based on operational requirements.
• Provide guest information about hotel services, activities and local attractions when asked.

Required profile

• Ability to arrive on time and work scheduled shifts.
• Physical capability to move large objects (carts, linen bags, ironing boards) and operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, brooms and spray bottles.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and team members.
• Commitment to follow cleanliness standards, safety procedures and emergency protocols.
