Housekeeping Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

As a Housekeeping Attendant at Fairmont Ajman, you will ensure guest rooms are immaculate, comfortable and welcoming, creating lasting first impressions for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to hotel standards, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies as required.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or lost‑and‑found items to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain clean, well‑stocked housekeeping equipment and trolleys.
• Follow safety, sanitation and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Respect guest privacy and confidentiality while servicing rooms.
• Assist with laundry duties, linen distribution and public‑area cleaning when needed.
• Provide prompt, courteous service, anticipating guest needs.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks and lifting.
• Positive, reliable and service‑oriented attitude.
• Basic communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
