Housekeeping Attendant – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, a luxury property of Minor Hotels, and deliver exceptional hospitality through meticulous room cleaning and guest service. You will ensure all guest rooms meet the brand’s high standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort while supporting the overall operation of the housekeeping department.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms in line with the hotel’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements, including proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain accurate records for linen, uniforms, and lost‑and‑found items.
• Monitor and replenish linen, towel, and uniform inventories to required levels.
• Implement waste‑reduction measures and report any material losses.
• Respond to VIP and special guest requests, especially for families with children.
• Care for housekeeping equipment, reporting any damage or loss immediately.
• Remove room‑service trays, update room status reports, and report any security concerns.

Required profile

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers.
• Familiarity with safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic communication skills in English.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift and carry supplies throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Understanding of hotel safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures.
