Housekeeping Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa as a Housekeeping Manager, leading a dedicated team to uphold the luxury standards of this beachfront resort. You will work closely with the Director of Housekeeping to ensure guest rooms, public areas and laundry services consistently deliver memorable experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Support overall housekeeping operations, maintaining luxury standards across rooms, public areas and facilities.
• Lead, motivate and develop the housekeeping team through training, coaching and performance management.
• Manage daily room and public area allocations, inspections and task lists to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Plan schedules and rosters in line with occupancy levels and operational needs.
• Oversee standards for bedrooms, bathrooms, linen, cleaning services and laundry operations.
• Coordinate special projects such as deep cleaning, carpet and window cleaning, pest control and room inventories.
• Maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fluctuating occupancy.
• Effective communication and teamwork across departments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of housekeeping standards, procedures and best practices.
• Experience managing laundry operations and linen controls.
• Proficiency in scheduling and roster planning.
• Familiarity with deep‑cleaning techniques and pest‑control coordination.
