Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

Join the hospitality team at The Chedi Al Bait in Sharjah as a Housekeeping Supervisor, responsible for maintaining luxury standards of cleanliness and guest comfort across rooms and public areas. You will lead a team of attendants, coordinate daily operations, and ensure seamless collaboration with other hotel departments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff, including room and public area attendants.
• Inspect guest rooms, suites, corridors and public areas to verify cleanliness, presentation and maintenance standards.
• Allocate room assignments and tasks based on occupancy and operational needs.
• Monitor and control housekeeping supplies, linen, amenities and equipment stock levels.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering and other departments to manage room status, early arrivals, late check‑outs and maintenance issues.
• Train, coach and motivate team members, conduct regular inspections and provide feedback.
• Maintain accurate records, checklists, reports and oversee lost‑and‑found procedures.
• Support deep‑cleaning schedules, preventive maintenance initiatives and special cleaning projects.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in a luxury hotel.
• Strong leadership, organizational and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and commitment to luxury standards.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays and overnight periods.
