HR and Recruitment Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR & Recruitment Specialist to join our fully remote team. You will own the complete hiring cycle—from crafting job ads and sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires—while ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: create job descriptions, post vacancies, source, screen, interview and onboard candidates.
• Source qualified talent through LinkedIn, job boards, recruitment platforms and social media.
• Review CVs, conduct initial screenings and assess applicants against role requirements.
• Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
• Communicate regularly with candidates, providing updates and maintaining a positive experience.
• Prepare and publish job advertisements on relevant platforms.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date candidate database and recruitment pipeline.
• Arrange assessments, reference checks and other pre‑employment steps.
• Issue employment offers and handle related documentation.
• Support onboarding by ensuring new hires receive required information and paperwork.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Track recruitment metrics, monitor open positions and report hiring progress.
• Build and sustain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
• Assist with HR administrative tasks such as employee records, attendance and leave documentation.
• Stay informed on recruitment trends, best practices and UAE employment regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of proven, hands‑on experience in recruitment or human resources.
• Strong understanding of the full hiring process.
• Experience sourcing candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, recruitment platforms or social media.
• Excellent communication, organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle confidential employee and candidate information.
• Familiarity with UAE employment and HR regulations is a plus.
• Experience in healthcare, veterinary or service‑based industries is an advantage.
