HR Business Partner – Automotive

About the role

The HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to senior line management within Al-Futtaim’s Automotive division, shaping human capital strategies that support growth, performance and diversity. This role requires deep business understanding to align HR initiatives with Group policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop HR strategy and annual plan in partnership with business stakeholders, driving organisational development and succession planning.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives, liaising with the Group Training Department and ensuring high‑potential staff receive appropriate learning opportunities.
• Manage employee relations, advise line managers on compliance, policy changes and disciplinary procedures, and foster a culture of engagement aligned with core values.
• Act as a trusted business partner to senior management, providing coaching, mentorship and change‑management support to improve employee engagement and organisational performance.
• Optimise workforce size and structure, lead re‑organisation projects, and ensure compliance with localisation and productivity targets.
• Prepare and present financial reports on employee costs, oversee annual manpower budgeting and support board‑level financial meetings.
• Ensure adherence to HR policies, internal controls and Emiratization goals, delivering training on policy compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Business Management; CIPD qualification is desirable.
• Minimum five years of HR Generalist experience, including prior experience as an HR Business Partner.
• Previous experience in the automotive sector is preferred.
