HR Executive / Coordinator – Remote for META-MUSEUM Project

About the role

The META-MUSEUM project is seeking a proactive HR Executive/Coordinator to manage daily human‑resources activities for a distributed, international team. This full‑time remote position will ensure smooth HR operations, compliance, and a positive, inclusive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding, contract administration, and documentation management for all team members.
• Maintain accurate HR records and support compliance with project, institutional, and EU funding policies.
• Handle employee‑relations matters, assist with performance and development processes, and foster a collaborative remote culture.
• Facilitate communication between project partners and team members across multiple countries.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and training initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong HR and HR‑Management experience in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Proven HR Operations background, including onboarding, documentation handling, and record‑keeping.
• Experience in Employee Relations with a focus on inclusive practices.
• Ability to interpret and apply HR policies in line with institutional and EU funding requirements.
• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and experience working in international or multicultural contexts.
• Experience in research, cultural, nonprofit, or EU‑funded projects is a plus.
