HR Manager – Retail & F&B (Dubai/Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The HR Manager will lead human resources operations across a multi‑site retail and food‑and‑beverage business in the UAE, ensuring effective workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business and operational priorities.
• Manage high‑volume recruitment for frontline, supervisory and management roles.
• Oversee payroll, compensation & benefits, workforce planning and HR budgets.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, MOHRE regulations, visas, contracts and terminations.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary cases and investigations.
• Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Lead performance management and KPI alignment with business objectives.
• Manage HRIS, HR analytics, headcount, turnover and labour‑cost reporting.
• Support manpower planning for new outlets and business expansion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–10 years of HR experience, preferably in retail, F&B, FMCG or multi‑site operations.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, MOHRE, Emiratisation/Nafis, visa processes and gratuity.
• Professional English required; Arabic or Hindi/Urdu an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with HRIS platforms.
• Ability to perform HR analytics and labour‑cost reporting.
