HSE Analyst - Port & Terminal Operations

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a full-time HSE Analyst for port and terminal operations in Dubai. The role supports the analysis of port safety data and helps improve safety workflows and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse port HSE data on incidents, near-misses and KPIs
• Support risk assessments using HIRA, JSA, Bowtie and HAZOP
• Help improve safety workflows, including Permit-to-Work for hot work, confined spaces and electrical tasks
• Work with terminal teams to understand operational processes
• Support Power BI dashboards and reporting for HSE metrics
• Prepare documentation for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 audits
• Assist in optimising HSE processes in terminals and turn data into actionable insights

Required profile

• Knowledge of port HSE standards (ISPS, ISM, OSHA, IMO)
• Understanding of terminal operations and cargo-handling workflows
• Familiarity with risk assessment methods (HIRA, JSA, Bowtie, HAZOP)
• Basic experience analysing HSE or operational data
• Good documentation and reporting skills

Required skills

• Exposure to Power BI or similar dashboarding tools
• Familiarity with TOS / EHS systems used in ports is a plus
