HSE Director

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced HSE Director to lead the Environment Safety Health and Risk Program (ESHARP) for its Abu Dhabi operations. The role provides senior oversight, technical guidance, training and support to business units and project HSE managers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, communicate and oversee the ESHARP management system across all project locations.
• Assist business unit managers with health and safety regulations, reporting, training and related issues.
• Monitor program effectiveness, conduct investigations, manage record‑keeping and workers’ compensation claims.
• Lead investigations of serious incidents, near‑misses and non‑compliances, ensuring root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coach, mentor and manage project HSE managers and safety professionals across multiple sites.
• Integrate HSE considerations into project planning, design reviews, constructability reviews and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 12+ years of safety and health experience, with supervisory responsibility for safety professionals in multiple locations.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to work with senior management.
