HSE Engineer – Offshore Project (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team for a high‑profile offshore development with ADNOC in Abu Dhabi. The HSE Engineer will lead health, safety and environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, UAE regulations and international best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE Management Systems and permit‑to‑work procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and compliance assessments.
• Participate in HAZID, JSA, TRA and risk‑assessment workshops.
• Investigate incidents, near‑misses and environmental events, producing detailed reports and corrective actions.
• Monitor critical activities such as lifting, work at height, confined‑space entry, hot work, excavation and marine operations.
• Ensure contractor adherence to HSE policies and ADNOC offshore requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HSE roles on offshore or large‑scale industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and ADNOC HSE regulations.
• Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and lead incident investigations.
• Excellent communication skills for training, awareness and stakeholder coordination.
