HSE Manager

About the role

A leading organization is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to direct Health, Safety, and Environment initiatives for Oil & Gas projects in the United Arab Emirates. This senior leadership position focuses on developing, enforcing, and continuously improving project-wide HSE management systems aligned with strict regulatory standards. The role involves overseeing site safety teams, conducting operational risk assessments, leading incident investigations, executing compliance audits, and coordinating with key project stakeholders to ensure zero‑harm environments across upstream and downstream facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the implementation of site‑wide HSE management systems across Oil & Gas project sites.
• Enforce project HSE plans, regulatory compliance frameworks, and international safety protocols.
• Manage, train, and guide project HSE teams, inspectors, and site safety officers.
• Lead root‑cause incident investigations, perform safety audits, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Assess operational risks and establish comprehensive risk mitigation strategies across project execution phases.

Required profile

• Mandatory ADNOC Approval as an HSE Manager; relevant professional health and safety certifications.
• Minimum 20 years of dedicated HSE experience within the Oil & Gas sector, with direct project execution experience under ADNOC standards.
• Proven track record on ADNOC Oil & Gas projects.
• Expertise in HSE management systems, risk management frameworks, incident investigation protocols, regulatory auditing, and executive leadership.
