HSE Officer

About the role

The HSE Officer will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance across landscaping, swimming pool construction, maintenance and accommodation sites in the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections, identify hazards and enforce corrective actions for high‑risk activities such as excavation, working at height, confined spaces and chemical handling.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions and safety awareness training, and ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to company HSE procedures.
• Prepare and maintain risk assessments, method statements, JSA/JHA documents, inspection checklists and HSE reports.
• Manage labour accommodations, performing inspections, overseeing cleanliness, sanitation, pest control, fire safety and general housekeeping.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, implement preventive measures and coordinate with project managers, engineers, foremen and HR.
