HSE Officer

About the role

The HSE Officer will ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance at construction sites, monitoring activities, enforcing policies, and fostering a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and site regulations.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
• Identify hazards, report unsafe conditions, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Assist in incident investigations, reporting, and recommending preventive measures.
• Provide safety training and toolbox talks to site workers and staff.
• Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and safety records.
• Ensure the availability and proper use of PPE and safety equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of HSE experience in the construction industry.
• Diploma or College Degree in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and risk management.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Required skills

• NEBOSH Certificate (mandatory).
• IMS and auditing experience (preferred).
