About the role
The company is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives on its construction sites in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring compliance with UAE safety regulations and fostering a safe working environment for all personnel.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct Toolbox Talks, scaffolding inspections and routine safety inspections on site.
- Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments (MSRA) for all construction activities.
- Obtain and manage work permits, ensuring all safety compliance requirements are met.
- Monitor and enforce UAE safety regulations and site safety practices.
- Report safety incidents and recommend corrective actions.
Required profile
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in occupational health and safety.
- NEBOSH, OSHA or IOSH certification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and site safety practices.
