About the role
The HSE Officer will support project teams in Abu Dhabi by ensuring the effective implementation of health, safety and environment standards, driving continuous improvement and fostering a safe workplace culture.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure awareness and implementation of the HSE system across projects.
- Identify training needs, deliver HSE training and monitor compliance.
- Investigate incidents, accidents and hazards, produce reports and follow up on corrective actions.
- Manage and monitor personal protective equipment (PPE) issuance, condition and replacement.
- Maintain the HSE register for the department and record all HSE activities.
Required profile
- Minimum diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of safety field experience.
- NEBOSH, OSHA or similar HSE awareness training, plus first aid, emergency response and fire‑fighting certifications.
- Good English communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive attitude, ability to share knowledge and support colleagues.
Required skills
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite.
