HSE Supervisor

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team for a high‑profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The HSE Supervisor will oversee Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental activities on ADNOC offshore project sites, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, UAE regulations, and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ADNOC Offshore HSE Management System, Codes of Practice and project‑specific requirements.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits and safety tours on offshore platforms, barges, vessels and facilities.
• Monitor Permit to Work implementation and verify adherence to Life Saving Rules and Golden Rules of Safety.
• Review and verify Job Safety Analyses, Task Risk Assessments, Method Statements and lifting plans.
• Supervise high‑risk activities such as working at height, confined space entry, hot work, lifting & rigging, electrical isolation, excavation and marine operations.
• Participate in HAZID, SIMOPS and other risk assessment workshops.
• Investigate incidents, near‑misses and unsafe conditions, conduct root‑cause analysis and track corrective actions.

Required profile

• Experience supervising HSSE activities on offshore construction or maintenance projects.
• Familiarity with ADNOC HSE standards, UAE safety regulations and client HSE requirements.
• Ability to promote a proactive safety culture and ensure strict compliance.
