HSE Support Officer

About the role

The HSE Support Officer is an entry‑level position aimed at developing UAE nationals through hands‑on exposure to Health, Safety and Environmental operations. You will assist the HSE team in implementing policies, monitoring compliance and supporting day‑to‑day safety activities across sites and offices.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of HSE policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Assist with site inspections, safety walkthroughs and hazard identification.
• Help with incident reporting, documentation and preliminary investigations under supervision.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, training logs, permits and compliance documents.
• Organise HSE training sessions, toolbox talks and awareness campaigns.
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices.
• Support risk assessments and track corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure adherence to local authority and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare basic HSE reports, statistics and performance dashboards.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the HSE team as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma; Diploma/Bachelor’s in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of HSE, safety, site coordination or compliance experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• UAE National only.
• Working schedule: 4 days a week, 5 hours per day.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
