Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner works in partnership with the Corporate People Team to deliver HR support across the UAE and to implement people plans. Reporting to the Senior Manager - HR, the role delivers commercially focused HR solutions that support the business unit and acts as its main liaison between HR and management.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the People operating plan in the UAE in line with corporate policy and protocols
• Support staff in resolving HR issues through consistent application of HR policies and procedures
• Develop and update job descriptions and support hiring managers with headcount forms aligned to the approved headcount plan
• Coordinate performance reviews, probationary meetings and one-to-one meetings
• Handle grievances, recommend resolutions and determine disciplinary action in line with Bateel policies
• Conduct exit interviews, analyse and report on them, and oversee employee data collection and reporting
• Monitor overtime trends, partner with the Operations team on cost optimization, and lead workforce planning including headcount forecasting
• Administer the full employee cycle: performance management, development, reward and recognition, employee relations, payroll, HRIS, compliance, reporting, transport and accommodation
• Report HR KPIs, audit the HRIS system and advocate the People Business Partner model

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role in Food & Beverage, Hospitality or Luxury Retail
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in HR or another field
• Knowledge of UAE Labour Law and statutory compliances
• CIPD membership preferred
• Valid driving licence
