Human Resources Director – Dubai

About the role

An established IT solutions company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead its HR function from the regional head office in Dubai. The role combines strategic HR leadership with hands‑on operational responsibility to support the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall HR strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead and manage the full HR function, partnering with the CEO and senior leadership.
• Design workforce planning, organisational structures and talent strategies.
• Oversee talent acquisition, including senior and specialist technology hiring.
• Drive employee engagement, retention and talent development programmes.
• Establish performance management and career development frameworks.
• Lead learning and development initiatives and succession planning.
• Ensure HR policies and practices comply with UAE employment legislation.
• Oversee compensation, benefits and remuneration programmes.
• Build a high‑performance culture that supports innovation and accountability.
• Mentor and develop the internal HR team.

Required profile

• 10+ years of HR experience with senior leadership responsibility (HR Director, VP, CHRO or equivalent).
• Strong background working in the UAE/GCC and supporting technology businesses.
• Deep knowledge of UAE employment practices and HR legislation.
• Proven experience in talent acquisition, organisational development, employee engagement and performance management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work strategically while remaining hands‑on when needed.
