Human Resources Generalist – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal is seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist to support its leadership team. This full‑time position will handle a wide range of HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and payroll support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist managers with hiring processes, including drug screens, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle checks, and social security verification.
• Maintain accurate applicant, orientation, and transfer request logs.
• Create and manage new‑hire and personnel files in the HR Information System.
• Support new‑employee orientation and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
• Process and maintain payroll records in line with company policies.
• Provide HR subject‑matter expertise on project teams and train new hires on HR processes and systems.
• Generate HR data reports and handle routine administrative tasks such as answering phones and drafting correspondence.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant HR experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
• Experience conducting background and drug screenings.
• Strong organizational and record‑keeping abilities.
