Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will support the full employee lifecycle for CAE in the United Arab Emirates, handling recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR data management. This role works closely with HR Business Partners, payroll specialists and other stakeholders to ensure smooth HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and hiring activities, including interviews, freelance hiring, graduate and internship outreach, and employee referral schemes.
• Manage induction, onboarding and exit processes: prepare induction schedules, coordinate training, issue contracts, track probation, and handle off‑boarding and termination transactions in Workday.
• Maintain accurate employee records in Workday, mirror data to the local payroll system, and generate HR dashboards, overtime and leave reports while ensuring data integrity.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing and administering HR policies, track Code of Business Conduct and Conflict of Interest declarations, and support audits and compliance reviews.
• Serve as the first point of contact for routine employee queries and support HR Business Partners in non‑major employee relations investigations.
• Prepare and maintain HR files for increments, bonus cycles, and contribute to engagement programs and talent management initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of full‑cycle HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, probation, and off‑boarding.
• Experience with HR information systems, preferably Workday, and ability to ensure data accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with a focus on confidentiality.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with HR Business Partners, payroll specialists and other stakeholders.
